Fly-away / frizzy hair help! AND PLEASE DO!!!?

guys, i really need your help!

when i have finished straightening my hair, i look in the mirror, and the top layer of my hair looks quite bad - it has got fly-away hair all over it (is that frizz?). well anyway, it looks awful. i want to get rid of it but how can i? can a hairdresser cut them off?

jennifer aniston straightenes her hair, but she doesnt have these fly-away hairs like i do. lots of girls have nice smooth, fly-away-free hair...im sooo jelous. SO PLEASE HELP ME!! XX

P.S i have ghd's, i use heat protection spray, i let my hair dry naturally after i have washed it and i either use L'Oreal (in the orange bottle) shampoo and conditioner or sunsilks brilliant brunette one.

yeah i have the same problem, i put like a reeeeele tiny bit of conditioner on my hair afterwards, and then i brush my hair forward and get rid of the parting, then brush it back to normal and the frizz is gone =D

Fly-away / frizzy hair help! AND PLEASE DO!!!?

hair wax. use it in moderation, but it should take away the fly aways!

Fly-away / frizzy hair help! AND PLEASE DO!!!?

i have used john frieda's frizz ease hair serum every day for about 18 years....you can get it any drug store from about 7-10$

you can also use the whole entire frizz ease hair care line (again at any drug store), i swear by it!!!!! i have naturally curly/frizzy hair that i straighten almost everyday...you can tell a big diffrence by using a small amount of that serum.

Fly-away / frizzy hair help! AND PLEASE DO!!!?

There are many products which can help with your problem. I would recommend either wax or frizz control cream. When using these put some on the tip of your fingers and rub them together, this is to ensure only a small amount is on each finger, then run your fingers through your hair and across the top to flatten any frizzy bits. This way you use it in moderation and so your hair doesn't go greasy.

Any type of serum would help, I like Paul Mitchells Super Skinny.

I need help for my unruly african american hair!!!!?

My hair is just past my boobs, and is very kinky, and curly. It tends to get poofy sometimes (afro). It is dark. I like to straighten my hair, and I need a spray, or cream to put on my hair dry, to protect it from heat. I need a good shampoo, and condtioner to help straighten it, and keep nutrients in it. I heard sunsilk hairapy is good. Last of all I need a cream, or spray to keep my hair in place. So that when i get in to the pool, my hair does not turn into a poof ball. Probably someting I can put on my hair while it is dry. I am on a budget, so it should not be to much

I need help for my unruly african american hair!!!!?

For straightening hair I suggest either a ceramic straightening iron, a good blow dryer, or a combo of the two. But with all this heat you'll need something to protect your hair, I suggest a good hair grease (such as blue magic, parnevu, etc), as hair grease tends to protect against heat more than creams do. But if you prefer a cream, try pink lusters oil moisturizer, it keeps hair moisturized very well and protects very well against heat. A really good shampoo is pantene's relaxed and natural, it make the hair feel straighter after washing and the matching conditioner is thick, creamy and smooth. Now as for something to keep your hair in place during the day while it is dry, there are creams and pomades specific for African American hair to keep it in place, just use a dab, not a whole lot because your hair will become a greasy mess. Now for the creams for the pool, sorry to tell ya but none exist, if someone says that they do exist, they're lying. Black hair and pools just do not mix very well. My hair turns into a poof after my hair dries from swimming and I have a relaxer. The thicker more coarse black hair tends to absorb more water and moister than most other types of hair, making it prone to poofing. I suggest not putting anything into your hair right before going swimming because it will run out of your hair and into your face and the water and may cause breakouts along your hairline. As for money, try the dollar stores (family or general), they tend to have hair products geared toward Afro-American hair and is probably the cheapest place you can get hair products. Good Luck.

NOOOO sunsilk is a nono for african american hair. try using africas best shampoo and conditor, that works good and for cream u can use any thing that conditions good.

although u could use sunsilk conditioner, its ok, but anything else with sunsilk, no, it leaves your hair dry and brittle, so it break easily.

Major HAir problems?!?

Here's what i do now:

i swim about 5 days a week and an hour or so after pratices i use herbal essance hydrating shampoo, then after the shower i use sunsilk umph creme for volume.

i have very oily hair so i usualy use herbal essance clarifying smapoo and baby powder.

I have annoying curls around my bangs so i use john freedman spray and sometimes a hair straightener.

I have very thin almost invisable hair because of swimming so i use sunsilk umph shampoo or loreal kids volumizing shamoo and sunslik creme.

My hair is very blonde from swimming and the sun, but my eyebrows are black so it looks weird. Should i get it dyed?

All this, and my hair is still very thin and curls. it also just looks bad alot.

THANK YOU!

Major HAir problems?!?

wow, you and i have the same problem. This is how to solve it:

all the product is damaging so lay off the stuff.

use a better shampoo to get rid of the oiliness...that can lead to weak, thin, bad hair. neutragena is good.

oh...I cant stand the weird curly thingy at the front. I have it too. I iron it out every morning.

for that blonde and dark thing you got there....try a temporary dye maybe.

Major HAir problems?!?

i would die your eyebrows.

maybe be careful about how much time you spend in the sun.

Major HAir problems?!?

you use way too many hair products, that's WATS ruining your hair! just use loreal kids swimming shampoo and conditioner. if your a guy don't use herbal essences that's weird, i am starting to thing this question is a joke because you use so many products! your brows r normal i no alot of people like that, it looks normal 2 me

Major HAir problems?!?

With as damaged as your hair is from swimming constantly, I wouldn't suggest dying your hair. To cut down on the chlorine damage you should either put conditioner in your hair before you swim or immediately rinse your hair out after you swim, oh and clarify your hair once a week.

Major HAir problems?!?

If you dye your hair, the chlorine might make some of your hair fall out. If you go to the salon they can recommend conditioner to use before swimming so it doesn't ruin hair after you are done swimming.

Advice about hair removal products?

im a girl, if that helps. basically for removing hair on legs...how long does nair usually last for...do the bladeless razors work well/last long, and has anyone used the sally hansen spray on shower off hair remover/ ..i heard you jst spray it on and then it removes hair in the shower..thanks.

Advice about hair removal products?

Nair usually works for a few days before it starts growing back. I like veet, its more gentle than nair.

Advice about hair removal products?

don't use hair removal stuff...it causes really bad rashes especially nairs...y don't u try waxing., Waxing the legs is not the most painful area but it lasts for a long time!

Advice about hair removal products?

veet is very good

Advice about hair removal products?

Wax Hair Remover is expensive, it hurts and your hair would turn black, try to use manual facial hair remover for face, or body hair remover sponge, that's easy and cheap, have a look here at

Why does my hair part all over?

I've got natural curly hair. Everytime I comb my hair back to get the "Pompadour" hair style, my hair messes up and parts on both sides of my head. Why?

I wash my hair every day. I don't put gels or sprays in my hair, but I always put a dab of Brylcreem. (I'm Rockabilly)

I'

Why does my hair part all over?

They are called cowlicks.

The difficult thing about cowlicks is that this is the way the hair grows, so no matter what you do, it will only be a 閳ユ涪emporary閳?solution. Unfortunately, there is nothing to make them 閳ユ笀o away閳? You can only manage them, and find a stylist who can help you create a style to make them work to your advantage (or at least minimize the detriment).

Why does my hair part all over?

If you used to part your hair in those places all the time, then that's why. If you part your hair in one place so many times, your hair is used to being parted that way, so it always parts that way if you don't force it.
