How can i make my hair look like on this picture ?

http://www.curly-hair-styles-magazine.co...

Its been really rainy lately and i want to do my hair like this what size curlers should i use and what hairspray will help i stay in best should i curl it first then put hair sprey on or spray on each peice before curling it help please !!?

How can i make my hair look like on this picture ?

its real easy actually...DONT USE THE CURLING IRON LIKE INTENDED...forget the curling iron has the clamp and just wrap the hair around the barrel (kind of like if you were using a long hot tick, which is pretty much all a curling iron really is)...it looks better if you dont add hair spray because it wont look as stiff so i would try using a curl boosting spray followed by a finishing spray when i finish.

GOOD LUCK!!!

How can i make my hair look like on this picture ?

i have no idea but thats a cute haircut.

How can i make my hair look like on this picture ?

Hairspray it after because if any hairspray gets on the pices of hair before they're curled, they won't curled.

How can i make my hair look like on this picture ?

That's a really cute haircut! Use a medium size curler, and spray your hair with hairspray before curling. =]

How can i make my hair look like on this picture ?

curl it with a straightener (sounds weird, but best way to do that) sray it with anti frizz or shine spray first (beadhead headrush) then hairspray at the end

How can i make my hair look like on this picture ?

water is en enemy of good hair i hate it but dosnt really matter whtype of hairspray you use nothing can help your hair from water but this is just the type of curlier to use

http://www.conair.com/ceramic-instant-he...

How can i make my hair look like on this picture ?

use a small open air curler and yes curl 1 piece at a time then add hairspray to each place of hair you just curled also a top for curling is what 2 min for it to curl then pull down and please at the same time very very slowly though and for the hairspray use extra hold defining spray by beautifier me and for the curler when you get the small open air curler never ever buy con-air it will make your hair puffy and ugly

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister!

i have short dark brown hair, i had to cut it because it was to short to do any thing with. i keep combed down and i put a head band in the middle of my head for style. but now i want to have a pony tail like my twin sister. but the bad thing is i can't put anything in my hair like jail, jam, spray, etc. or else it will break my face out. but i'll try to wash my hair every week or more if i put anything in it. so please tell me how to make it grow, how to make it grow long and how to make it grow fast! because im tired of having short hair now and i want long hair now but i need to know how to make it longer. so if anyone now's how please tell thank you so much =D

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

Just keep it healthy and get it trimmed regularly. It works!

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

You cut it because it was to short to do anything with? That just delayed the time.

ANYWAYS,

Time it will take awhile but time. Dont worry :)

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

warm up castor oil, almod sweet oil and coconut oil.then, use your hands to massage the oil into your scalp for 15 minutes then, sleep in a silk scarf.try it and see.use chemicals less frequently

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

Well for one, you shouldn't wash your hair everyday because when you wash your hair it keeps it from growing as fast. I know this because my mother has had the same problem. She cut down on washing her hair and it started to grow fast. She washed it for about 2 times a week. GOOD LUCK!

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

Response to: "but i'll try to wash my hair every week or more if i put anything in it." Ummm....you really should be washing your hair bare minimum every other day. Every day is best though. You can't make your hair longer without getting extensions.

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

im sorry but im prety sure that thres no way to make hair grow fast withought using a spray or gel

coconut oil is an excellent source for hair growth. puerto rican girls and indian girls put that on their hair every night before bed and it makes your hair grow.

green tea tree oil hair growth cream, which you can buy at a Sally's salon store, comes in a green container. put it on daily and your hair is sure to grow.

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

You will just have to let it grow out naturally. Unfortunately there is no way to make your hair grow faster. You could get hair extensions if you want it longer though

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

mane and tail shampoo helps your hair grow a lot faster. you can find it anywhere like cvs, rite aid or pretty much any store that sells shampoos. they come in big bottles and dont cost much :)

you should also take a multi-vitamin and try to eat really healthy. also try to get lots of sleep. sleep and healthy foods are really good for your hair and will help them grow faster.

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

The only thing you can do is take good care of it. Use products if you blowdry or straighten it, get it trimmed regularly, use conditioner, don't wash it too often, ect. When it gets annoying to you and you are trying to decide if you want to cut it, try different things with it to see if you can keep growing it out. Unfortunately, you just have to wait. I had really short hair three years ago and I've been growing it out ever since. It is only to my mid-back now, so it takes a long time. Try to be patient.

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

Well, hair doesn't grow POOF just like that. Some people's hair grows faster than others. Getting it trimmed ever so slighty once in a while makes it grow faster, I no crazy right.. getting it cut makes it longer... but it works. And try to wash your hair more to keep it healthy. Hope this helps.

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

I realize you have ethnic hair... but you have got to wash it more than once a week. You need to wash it no less than every three days. Seriously. You will notice that folks that wash their hair often have hair that grows at three times the rate. All that stuff you have grown up with about not washing your hair too much is all a load.

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

srry but there is nothing on this earth that can make hair grow faster. rather than freaking out and getting stressed i suggest you leave it to mother nature. Hair only grows about 1-3 inches per month so it will take a while. i think if you try some salon conditioners it will make your hair nice and smooth. atleast that will be better than crying about it trust me rite now I am in the same situation as you. the only thing you could do is wait. well I hope this helps and good luck

Help please! I want to grow my hair out but its to short, i want to have a pony tail like my sister! help me!?

My daughter goes to this natural health site for a product and found a hairgrowth one listed- of course she had to try it- she had very short ahir and so we could see the difference in a couple of weeks- they said an oil used by geishas -

well she used it on her eyelashes too- like they said, and they are longer now!

if yours is short, you probably can try the sample like she did, to see if it works- they say you can see fast resulsts in very short hair

Is it bad to use hair removal products?

I hate shaving and it leaves my legs and underarms stubbly and isn't smooth. Shaving doesn't keep those areas clean for more than 2 days before I have to shave again.

Are spray on and creams for hair removal better to use than shaving? Is it bad to use them constantly, instead of shaving? What are the most recommended hair removal creams and sprays?

Answer all questions above, please! Thank you.

Is it bad to use hair removal products?

I use Nair for my legs and I like it better than shaving. I use it about every 3-4 days and it dosent do anything bad. It smells really bad though.

Is it bad to use hair removal products?

Try this website -

Is it bad to use hair removal products?

I use nair every few weeks. I prefer it 2 shaving cause its easier. For me, I've neva shaved so I can't really answer da other questions. The other girl was right, it smells really bad after its been on. Good luck!

Why do I get greasy hair?

I have to wash it everyday now..

I wake up and its just mainly my roots that are really greasy.

but after i've washed it, and blow dryed it, it appears dry.

i've changed both shampoo, conditioners and also heat defence spray, i dont even straighten my hair. i use a spray as its dry.

im dealing ok with showering every morning, and it's ok when i sleep round my friends cause i can borrow their shower.. but i'm stopping at my boyfriends house next week so i'm totally not allowed to shower there, though i'll have one the day before, my hair will still be greasy in the morning.

And i cant put it up as the layers prevent it.

Why do I get greasy hair?

Wash your hair every second day instead. It will be hard at first but it will work!

If you wash your hair every day, you're washing out all the natural oils so your body thinks your hair needs more and then produces twice as much-making your hair greasy twice as quickly.

Good luck

Why do I get greasy hair?

Washing hair everyday will wash out all the nutrients.

Shampoo your hair normally.

When you apply conditioner just apply to the ends (not your scalp or top of your hair)

Try not to spray too much heat defense just minimum few inches away from head

Why do I get greasy hair?

0kay so my friend has du same pr0b...she just uses

c0nditi0ner....and D0NT use shamp00..bcuz shamp00

makes it greasier faster...s0 just try 0nce just using c0nditi0ner and c wat happens. it sh0uldnt be greasy f0r at least 2 days....

閳?br>Why do I get greasy hair?

I knoow u might have heard this before but bring baby powder and apply it to your roots and greasy areas of your hair at night-- (only when ur hair is dry) and although at first it will make your hair appear gray lol when you wake up it will be grease freee.. trust me I suffer from the same thing and this solved my problem!

Why do I get greasy hair?

it doesn't hurt to wash your hair with a mild shampoo everyday. Let's put it this way. Your hair is healthy. A little natural oil will make your hair shiny and vibrant looking. Don't worry. Oily hair is healthy hair. You want some of your own oil to reach the strands.

Why do I get greasy hair?

Wear a hat that day. Why can't you shower at your boyfriends? Offer to pay towards the bills if that's the problem.

Why do I get greasy hair?

that means your not eating healthy: you eat too many greasy foods or you dont drink enough water and exercise enough. When and if you start doing doing that you should say results. And as far as what the other girl told you dont wash your hair everyday: some factors of the may be true. However you can wash your hair everyday if you want to, I do. And I know you said youve already changed your shampoo and conditioner, but one for oily hair.~good luck~

Why do I get greasy hair?

i have the same problem, my hair is constantly greasy. i usually wash my hair at night and its greasy by morning but i have changed that routine an wash it in morning an it will last untill night. i have tried all shampoos and conditioners an not using shampoo and not using conditioner. so now i shampoo twice then use tiny amount of conditioner but only on ends not on roots and i dont use any other styling products as they make hair greasy but sometimes use a little hairspray if i think my hair looks like its going to go greasy beacuse that makes hair look dryer. good luck

I want to lighten my hair naturally. besides spraying lemon juice in my hair is there anything else

i have always heard vodka will do it better than lemon juice

I want to lighten my hair naturally. besides spraying lemon juice in my hair is there anything else i can do?

Try chamomile tea. Brew it up and let it sit in your hair for like 30 minutes while in the bathtub or something and then rinse. It worked for me years ago. Good luck!

I want to lighten my hair naturally. besides spraying lemon juice in my hair is there anything else i can do?

Sunlight will lighten your hair if you're already blond or light brown. I have blonde hair and if I just spend some time outside, like 30 minutes a day for a while, my hair get some noticable highlights.

I want to lighten my hair naturally. besides spraying lemon juice in my hair is there anything else i can do?

sun bleach.

I want to lighten my hair naturally. besides spraying lemon juice in my hair is there anything else i can do?

Hang out in the sun a lot! Whenever summer rolls around my hair always gets lighter.

Hair Products! Need Help!?

What is a good, cheap (like, under $5) hair product preferrably a spray or mousse that will give my hair both thickness and volume? Please help. Thanks!

Hair Products! Need Help!?

Dove is the best at least that is what i think and i have thin hair and that is what makes my hair look thick'

I have Asian (jet black) hair. I want to put in light pink streaks. How do I do it?

I want to use the wash-out dye (shampoo and wash your hair afterwards) or the spray stuff that comes in a can. Do I have to bleach my hair to get good results? Because I really don't want to. What's better, the wash-out dye or the spray stuff? What are the pros and cons of using these? And how do I use it? I want to do this for Halloween. Any suggestions are great. Thanks!

Try pink clip-on hair extensions.

I Want to die the hair colour of my arms?

i have light skin dark hair i dont want to shave it i just want it blond , is there a safety percaution not to do it . What if i used sun in whick is a spray that dosnt need the sun it just makes hair lighter buye the spray i need help please anser .

I Want to die the hair colour of my arms?

Get your arms waxed if you want or get some hair bleaching cream. They make hair bleaching kits for arm and back hair.

I Want to die the hair colour of my arms?

That isn't a good idea

I Want to die the hair colour of my arms?

I think you should get some paint pans, the kind you use for painting and fill them with bleach, then soak your arms in them for no less, not a second!!!, then 6 hours and your arms'll be perfect.

I Want to die the hair colour of my arms?

maybe just shave it

I Want to die the hair colour of my arms?

You can't dye the hair on your arms. You will end up with dye on your skin and it will look awful. Trust me it looks fnine the way it is. If you shave it, it wil lgrow back thicker..however if you keep shaving it there should not be a problem.

Whatever you do: Don't dye it!

I Want to die the hair colour of my arms?

i did that once. i used something called Jolens i believe and anyway it was meant for bleaching hair on the body. it was easy to use, i mean you just apply it on your arms after following mixing instructions on the label. it does itch but it works. the only downside was later on when it started to grow out bc it looked like i hair irregular sized pores bc the longer part of the hair was blonde while the hair at the roots was black. i decided it wasn't worth it and too hard to keep up with. i mean i truly understand that it bothers you but eventually you'll just learn to live with it and let it go.

i first wanted to bleach it bc my bf teased me but then i got over it and told him to shove it so yeah lol. it's really not as big a deal as you may initially think. do what makes you feel best but don't do something bc someone else said something to you. remember, no one's perfect and they have flaws too.

good luck!

(btw, in case you want to try out Jolens, i got it at Walgreens. im sure any place like that would carry it.)

I Want to die the hair colour of my arms?

Go to a professional and talk to them. Perhaps they can do something for you. Trying to do something like that yourself might do more harm than good to your skin.

I Want to die the hair colour of my arms?

i sugguest bleaching it

I Want to die the hair colour of my arms?

Sally Beauty Supply (or any other large beauty supply store) sells bleach by GiGi specifically for body hair: face, arms, etc. It's about $5.99 %26amp; lasts for several applications, plus, it's OK for sensitive skin. I've used regular hair bleach for years on my arms with absolutely awesome results!

I Want to die the hair colour of my arms?

Dont ever think of doing that, you gonna have darker hair later on and stronger ones.. just wax

Wacky hair day @ school tomorrow?

I'm japanese. i have black hair about 4 inchs below my shoulder. i have layers and short side swept bangs. i'm in the 7th grade. Tomorrow is wacky hair day and i have no idea what to do! My friends said they wanted me to put my hair in chopsticks and spray it hot pink. but idk what i want to do for sure yet. Please give me some ideas. Thanks!!!!!!!!

Wacky hair day @ school tomorrow?

i love to put long hair up all over messy and unusaly.. nothing the same... put a few little pony tails in it, and then pull some back in barrettes, add some twists and pull those back and around all over the place, leave some down and straight (usually in the side bang area) and curl some in ringlets... add some of those colorful hair peices to the mix or some colored hair gel.. with dark hair it will be hard for those to show up so you may want to just go with the colored hiar pieces.. funky and fun all at the same time. I do this alot for proms, birthday parties for the younger girls, and halloween... the trick is the colors and the FUNK!

Just experiment and have fun with it.. besdies its WACKY hair day... so anything goes!!

How to use: herbal essences dangerosly straight flat out finnishing spray?

Ok well I have pretty short hair(ranging from 2 inches to 5). Now can someone tell me if I'm able to do this: Shampoo/condition hair, then blow dry. spray my palms, then evenly spread out within my hair, then finally straighten.

By using this method will it prevent me from getting too many fly aways and frizziness? opinions please. thank you.

Can anyone tell me about a hair product that can straighten my hair and take away poofiness??

My hair has been difficult ever since my mom first dyed and cut it 4 years ago. Now it's not straight anymore, it's poofy and wavy. Now I always wear my hair up because I can't do anything with it. The shampoos I use don't help at all. And I want to chemically straighten it, but the salon I went to says I have to wait until I'm older or else it'll make my hair worse. Does anyone know about a hair product (shampoo, conditioner, spray, etc...) that can possibly help? My family doesn't have the money to send me to a salon. btw, right now my hair is a bit longer than shoulder length, black, wavy, and poofy (when I wear it down). I would really appreciate some help.

Can anyone tell me about a hair product that can straighten my hair and take away poofiness??

You can check out the Matrix line's Sleek.look. It has shampoo, conditioners, styling products, etc. It smooths and prevents frizz. They also have some recovery treatments available. If your area has a Trade Secret or something you may be able to get these products at a reasonable price.

Can anyone tell me about a hair product that can straighten my hair and take away poofiness??

There is much poofiness in this side of the Atlantic. Rainbows, rainbows everywhere. I do like Sir Elton's music, though.

Can anyone tell me about a hair product that can straighten my hair and take away poofiness??

there is this STR8 shampoo and conditioner that my friend uses, it helps her when she straightens it to make it flatter so it will straighten.

Go to this website: www.curls.biz or buy a moisturizing shampoo like Suave naturals and a moisturing conditioner or try the neutrogeana triple moisture line of products braid hair using a leave-in conditioner at night then take the braids out in the morning do not comb out.

Can anyone tell me about a hair product that can straighten my hair and take away poofiness??

Wash ur hair with straightening shampoo and conditioner. Then blowdry with straightening balm. After that use a big FLAT IRON on your hair.

I SWEAR TO GOD THAT'S THE PRODUCT U NEED. A FLAT IRON HELPED MY HAIR A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU can go to Target and buy a flat iron for about 15.00- 25.00 dollars

Can anyone tell me about a hair product that can straighten my hair and take away poofiness??

i have the same problem with my hair. i use a FHI HEAT straightener. it costs $85. but it works really realy good! it straightens your hair, doesnt make it all poofy, and it makes your hair look nice and silky. if you dont find that, then there is one called the CHI IORN. the only thing is that you need a spray and gel creamm thing that comes w/ it. but the CHI IORN is lke $140, so the FHI HEAT is a better price. but w/ the cream and spray, all together, it costs around $120 - $135. but it works good!

Thick hair??

I have really think hair and its not full or volume or any thing and i use big sexy hair like every volumizing spray and it doesnt volumize it. Is there any way to get thinner hair and more volume?

No idea.

Thick hair??

you want thin hair with volume? not possible. you can get your hair to be more voluminous by blow drying upside down and using a round brush... or thinner by using super skinny by Paul Mitchell...

but sometimes i feell like i look stupid with a high pony tail or low pony taai and it gets so puffy

is there any type of hair gel along wit spray that best works and does anyone have any other type of hair style curly hair can work wit other then bieng down all the time??

Curly hair help me!!!?

Curly hair help me!!!?

I have nasty curly hair too. I really cant stand my hair being down, unless it is a very special occasion. I use the ponytails a lot too. I also do a small mohawk on the front (like fluffy(and then slick back the rest of the hair in a ponytail, and let the back go wild, I've been told it looks cute. Another hair style I do is one that I saw J.Lo with! Part a small piece of hair on the middle front, slick it back into a very low ponytail and with hair from the ponytail, just twirl it and put it in a bun, it looks classy, I use this one a lot. Hope this helps!

Curly hair help me!!!?

I have curly/wavy hair too. Sometimes it can go a bit frizzy, so after I've washed it I add some curl cream, which acts like a serum and enhances the curls. I let it dry naturally. It's good that you like your curls as alot of girls straighten their hair poker straight and are being like sheep. Curly hair looks much more natural and lively.

Curly hair help me!!!?

I have curly hair, and, well, I noticed that right after I brush it, it gets frizzy and doesn't look all that great. So I stopped brushing it right before I left the house, that helped. Also, something my husband told me and I think is true... People can wear anything (hair, clothes, accessories, etc.) and as long as you have the confidence then you can pull it off and it looks good. So basically, wear your hair however you want (within reason,) and it Will look good as long as you feel good about it. (This does not mean you should suddenly dawn a Mohawk or anything!) But as far as gel or any of that stuff goes, I have used a thick almost glue-like putty to scrunch my hair with so that the curls stay together, but I mix it with water so it doesn't get crunchy.

Still my favorite style is the straightening iron!

Curly hair help me!!!?

i was like you but i asked my mum really nicely if she could buy me a straightener and she did and after about 2 or 3 months of staightening my hair every so often it has gone staight and i don't have to straighten it as much as i used to!!!!!!!!!

i hope that's answer your question

Is "Off" bad for your hair?

I always spray it all over me, including my hair, when there is mosquitos out..and someone told me that its really bad for your hair follicles if you spray it into your hair.

Is this true?

Is "Off" bad for your hair?

veryy! i have veryy thick dry hair, and i went camping this past week. there were bugs everywhere and i really didnt want ticks so i sprayed it in my hair it it was all sticky and dry when i went to wash it. i had to use loads of shampoo! it might not have to you because of different hair types, but it could be drying out your hair and you might not know it.

Is "Off" bad for your hair?

Try it on your pubs. If they fall off --you got a free Brazilian wax

Is "Off" bad for your hair?

I asked my mom about this one, she is a hair stylist, and she said that she's not sure if it is bad for the follicles, but when you spray it on your hair, most of it goes on the hair shaft and not on your scalp where the follicle is. Plus, just from experience, if its THAT bad for your hair, you would notice by it breaking off or from getting split ends. My hair is sensitive to different products because its so curly, and the stuff that doesn't work, screams it within a week. If you can't see or feel a difference in the health of your hair, I say, keep on sprayin'!

Is "Off" bad for your hair?

i guess if your hair was made out of bugs it would be

My hair is naturally wavy and I always have to straighten it with a flat iron. I have the best flat iron in the buisness, but it still doesnt keep my hair pin straight like I want it. My wife has a problem with ions causing staticy, frizzy hair.....?

...She has tried the special hair dryers and sprays. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

My wife has a problem with ions causing staticy, frizzy hair.....?

I have very naturally curly and frizzy hair. Here's what I use....

Before I dry my hair, I use a serum from Paul Mitchell called "super skinny". It works WONDERS. She'll just need to put a small amount in her palms and work it through her hair then dry it. It's not really expensive, but I promise you it's worth it. It's one of my necessities. Here's a link to see what it is...

http://www.paulmitchell.com/Products/Pau...

Also, when she gets done drying her hair, using a good quality flat iron is a good idea also. You can use a Chi, which is fairly expensive ($100), or just go to a local beauty supply shop and make sure it's a ceramic flat iron, and it will work just as good. Before she uses anything on her hair as far as a curling iron or a flat iron, get her some "smooth and seal" from Big Sexy products. It's a spray, with no hold, but it protects and smooths the hair out. This is another one of my necessities. I spray my hair with this every day before I straighten it to keep it healthy and it gives it a nice shine. Here's a link for this also...

http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a...

I use both of these everyday and I promise, they work wonders. They are definitely worth it. She'll love them. I hope this helps :)

My wife has a problem with ions causing staticy, frizzy hair.....?

Use a dryer sheet that goes in the dryer with your clothes.Just go over your hair with the dryer sheet a couple of times and that should help with frizzy hair.Or if it is REALLY frizzy, try a straighting iron called Chi Iron. They are around $100.00 but it is worth the money!!

My wife has a problem with ions causing staticy, frizzy hair.....?

Has she, perhaps, tried a dryer sheet? As strange as it sounds, it makes perfect sense. When my hair had some static issues of it's own, my grandma went straight for the dryer sheets. And to boost, you can always find some that smell good. =D Just take one out and have her rub it through her hair.

Hope it helps.

My wife has a problem with ions causing staticy, frizzy hair.....?

Have her hair straightened. There are ion straightening/thermal reconditioning/ japanese style straightening services in some salons. It costs a lot of money but it will surely get rid of the frizz. It lasts for around 6 months to a year.

My wife has a problem with ions causing staticy, frizzy hair.....?

There are some hair straighteners that you put water in them so when you straighten, it makes steam. There is one by Conair that is great. I used to have the same problem. Also get her to try different anti frizz serums, like hot oil.

Best Ceramic hair straightener?Price?

Okay so, I have really straight and thin hair. But sometimes when I wake up in the morning, sometimes I get like frizzy hair and like a huge lump of hair sticking out, so it looks really weird. It takes a long time to get it back to normal.

So I want a ceramic hair straightener to straighten my hair when I'm having a really bad hair day.

Revlon. 20-35$

Best Ceramic hair straightener?Price?

The best one is called "CHI" but here in Canda it's 150$ don't know the price in the US.

Best Ceramic hair straightener?Price?

CHI ceramic staightener, it's $100ish. Thats the best. But u can buy any ceramic one from a beauty supply. Buy the one that heats up the most(u can check the degrees on the box).

Best Ceramic hair straightener?Price?

How do I use hot rollers so that the curl stays in my hair?

I just got hot rollers. I have pretty fine, very straight hair that is just past my shoulders. I tried to use them on the weekend but the curl fell out and just left it kind of....well not stick straight. I only left them in for about 15-20minutes 'cause of time, should I leave them in longer? I used them on dirty hair (washed the day before) and I had mousse in my hair. I also sprayed some hairspray on them while they were in. What else can I do??

How do I use hot rollers so that the curl stays in my hair?

After you shower you put a lot of mousse in your hair. You probably should allow 1 1/2 hours to get the whole job done. plug them in and then you put them in your hair after the curlers are completely heated (I like having someone else help me put them in, it makes it much easier) and then keep them in your hair until they are room temperature, so they don't have any heat left at all.

Spray them with Garner Fructis strong hold hair spray (thats what works best for me) then take them out after the hairspray is dry. After they are all taken out, spray like hell. lol

Then you can style it however you want! It will look great I promise! Good luck!

Sarah

How do I use hot rollers so that the curl stays in my hair?

I have fine straight hair too, but found if leave them in until almost cool, and then do not touch your hair until totally cool, curls should keep, and styled the way you want. May want to add alittle mouse before putting in the rollers too.

How do I use hot rollers so that the curl stays in my hair?

Dont use hot rollers and hair spray. That's a bad combination.

Use the plastic magnetic rollers and a setting lotion. Your curls will last, without breaking off, or looking dry. Wet Set curls are more pretty. thay have body, bounce, and shine. Will last all day.

Hair Straightening help?????????

my hair is wavy when its wet, but once it dries it gets really poofy so i have to straighten it. right now i have a CVS 2 inch ceramic straightener, but i dont think it is very good (it was only 20 dollars). when i straighten my hair, it still gets kind of puffy, and i cant get the ends of my hair to be perfectly straight. what i usually do is when my hair is still wet, after a shower, i put Got 2 B straight product in my hair, then i blow dry it, then i straighten it. Are the hair straightener and the spray in stuff i use good enough? What kinds do you use? And do you have any tips on making it straight at the ends?

Hair Straightening help?????????

i have the same straightener! i have the same problem too! my advice is that its not a really good straightener, im saving up for the chi. The best way to get it straight would be to straighten very slowly (like 2-3) minutes each time you put the straightener in your hair. Oh, and to get the ends straight use styling cream (i use fantastics sams)

Hair Straightening help?????????

My Comments on The CHI?

Let me just say that i bought a chi and it is the best thing ever ! I got it at UTLA for 100$ and it works ! I just air dry my hair and it comes out super curly then i plug in my chi and iron my hair and i am done in under 20 min and it looks super stright and shiney !

its worth every penny buy it

Hair Straightening help?????????

You get what you pay for, if you want straight hair then buy the Chi. It is pricy but it works. Also use biosilk. It is great. I put it on before I blow dry and then also when I start to straighten my hair.

Hair Straightening help?????????

CHI flat iron is the one i hear absolutely no complaints about!! Its a lot more expensive - but you get what you pay for!

http://shopping.yahoo.com/search?p=chi%2...

or just google it or do an internet search. You cannot buy this in common stores (like cvs- walmart- sally's etc.) I know A LOT of people that have it and love it! As a matter of fact.... Im gonna buy one right now-lol

Hair Straightening help?????????

I have very naturally curly hair. I just purchased a T3 Tournmaline Wet or Dry straightener and LOVE it. I received a really good deal on it on Ebay, because there is no way I would spend $200 on it! I don't think you have to go that expensive though, if you just get one with good ceramic plates and adjustable heat. For curly hair you have to have higher heat. I also really like using Redken Outshine 01 before I straighten, but I have also had really good luck with the Fructis products. I love their sleek %26amp; shine conditioner, especially when I wear my hair curly. Their spray gel for curls is the bomb, I would have frizzy poofball hair without it!

Hair Straightening help?????????

Don't forget the shampoo and conditioner! Your hair sounds just like mine. I've found that using a shampoo for dry/damaged hair helps a lot! It seems to weigh your hair down a bit.

I also use a giant round brush when drying. Grab a section of hair, pull it straight with the brush, roll up a bit and pull hard as you blow dry. Then i just have to run the iron over the top layer of my hair to smooth out the frizzies.

Hair Straightening help?????????

hey we have something in comen i have the same hair type as you, i know that the others said you should use CHI but here's another straightener you can use that does not cost a ton of money it's (24.99$.......VESSON.. @ TARGET) I USE IT AND IT WORKS GREAT IT IS IMPORTANT TO SECTION YOU HAIR WHEN YOU STRAIGHTEN, FOR BETTER RESULTS ALSO TRY NOT TO WASH YOUR HAIR WITH HOT WATER IF YOU CAN AFTER YOU SHAMPOO AND CONDITION SHOCK YOU HAIR WITH COLD WATER THAT WILL ELIMINATE THE FRIZZES AND IT WILL SHINE...DON'T FORGET IT MATTERS WHAT SHAMPOO YOU USE ALSO TRY TO USE BIOL AGE IF YOU CAN, IT WORKS GREAT..

Hair Straightening help?????????

yes there are much better straighteners but they are pricy it all depends on how much you want to spend you are way better off on asking a hair dresser though.

OK to use a John Frieda blonde styling product on my brunette hair?

I want to use the John Frieda Full-Blown Blonde Volumizing Spray, but my hair is brunette. They don't have it for brunettes, and I've heard it works really well. I was reading reviews of it online, and there were a couple brunettes that used it %26amp; didn't have any problems. It doesn't seem like there are any ingredients in it that will turn my hair blonde or lighten it. Are there? What's your opinion? Have you used it? The link to the product is below, so you can check it out. Thanks!

OK to use a John Frieda blonde styling product on my brunette hair?

Just because it work for others who have brunette hair it may not work for yours. You may be able to use but use a very small amount. Before u actually use it, you should consult with your regular Hair Stylist to be on the safe side. U don't have a regular one, try a popular Beauty Shop and ask about the John Frieda r call their product line number for customer service and check it out. If they give you the green light then go ahead. If no one can give you a straight answer just try a small amount and it should be fine. Also you can consultant at a Beauty Supply store that you trust. Good Luck.

What's the best way to get dog hair off a couch?

I have used lint lifters and i vacume everyday with arm %26amp; hammer spray with pet hair release but nothing is working. Can anyone help?

What's the best way to get dog hair off a couch?

Take tape, rap the non sticky side around your hand, with the sticky side on the outside. Pat it up. It works on clothes too.

What's the best way to get dog hair off a couch?

get rid him outside home.

What's the best way to get dog hair off a couch?

My parents have 2 long haired cats and they have fur everywhere. But they went to the store and got this thing called Magic Sponge or something like that. Basically it's a rubber sponge that you rub on the couches or any other fabrics and it gribs the fur and the can just pull it off in clumps. It's awesome!!

What's the best way to get dog hair off a couch?

Go to Bed, Bath, and Beyond or similar store and get a table brush. It has a brush type roller encased in a box type container. As you roll over the couch the hair gets picked up and stays there.

What's the best way to get dog hair off a couch?

a lint roller

What's the best way to get dog hair off a couch?

I actually bought this thing at walmart, it has about a hundred little rubber "hairs" which unattract the hairs from fabric - believe me - it works, I've used it for about 2 years now. I use it on her and my furinture, car, etc.

Good Luck.

Permanant Hair Removal?

Does anyone know the best method for permanant body hair removal? Preferably sprays/lotions that are inexpensive and that can be applied by yourself.

Permanant Hair Removal?

The only permanent ways are electrolysis and lasering. Both are best applied by a professional or otherwise you could end up scarred, which is much worse than being a bit hairy!

Permanant Hair Removal?

Electrolysis.

No lotion or spray can remove hair PERMANENTLY.

Permanant Hair Removal?

You can only get permanent hair removal with lasers or electrolysis. If you wanted longer lasting removal that is not permanent you can wax, but I wouldn't recommend lotions, people usually have allergic reactions to them.

Permanant Hair Removal?

I also thought there was a article in the paper about a laser which could remove hair?

Permanant Hair Removal?

I don't think that any of the sprays or lotions are permanent, but they do slow growth. The only permanent method is laser treatment or electrolysis.

Permanant Hair Removal?

Sprays and lotions to not keep hair away permanently.

Lasers can do it, but they cost about $200 per session, and you might have to return 3 times or more if hair keeps coming back.

If it is facial hair, there is something called Vaniqa that your doc can prescribe, but if you don't have insurance, it can cost a LOT.

If it is leg hair...just shave it. Easy peasy.

Permanant Hair Removal?

There is no permanent treatment except for electrolysis. Waxing will keep the hair away for the longest period of time (3-6 weeks, depending on your hair growth). And if you use it long enough (over a few years or so), the hair will not grow back. But it will take a very long time for that to happen.

Permanant Hair Removal?

the only way to remove hair permanently is laser.

it is expensive I'm afraid, but it will go away forever after a few sessions

Permanant Hair Removal?

wax it and then put duck tape on there and keep it on there for a few days and tear duck tape really fast and waaaa-laaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Permanant Hair Removal?

when you wax hair, eventually it damages the hair root/follicle(whatever it's called) and doesn't grow back....but that takes a long time. Waxing lasts a long time and the grow back isn't as rough as when you shave. Ive found that all those lotions/sprays that claim to remove your hair for several weeks are just bull. I think when it comes to this it would be "no pain, no gain!!" Good luck!

Permanant Hair Removal?

Electrolysis and/or laser treatment. The hairs may need treated more than once. Neither of which are DIY.

Permanant Hair Removal?

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://tinyurl.com/ob6tt

Permanant Hair Removal?

Kalo hair minimiser has been around a long time and I use it to slow down hair growth and soften my facial hair, making it easier to shave daily. As far as permanent hair removal goes, it could take anywhere from 6-12 months of continuous use before major reduction in hair growth is witnessed.

Another alternative is the Rio laser hair removal kit. If you have been looking for a permanent solution to hair removal / hair growth reduction, the Rio Laser is the closest home based product to meet those requirements. It's also a lot cheaper than salon treatments. A couple of caveats though, it cannot be used on dark skin and due to its size is only suitable for treating small areas at a time.

Does lemon juice actually bring out the natural hightlights in your hair or does it bleach it?

IF they bring out the natural highlights can you just buy the bottled lemon juice from the market, put it in a spray bottle and spray into your hair and go out into the sun? or do you need to get fresh lemons? and if you do do that, is it permanent?

Does lemon juice actually bring out the natural hightlights in your hair or does it bleach it?

It lightens up your hair

Does lemon juice actually bring out the natural hightlights in your hair or does it bleach it?

it belaches your hair lighter

and pretty much, just squeeze lemon juice in your hair and go out into the sun

it is permanment hair bleaching

Does lemon juice actually bring out the natural hightlights in your hair or does it bleach it?

yes its permeate and no it will lighten but it is not bleach

bleach is all chemicals, lemon is natural

one thing though if you have dyed you hair DO NOT use lemon it will turn you hair orange no matter what! just get it professionally done

Does lemon juice actually bring out the natural hightlights in your hair or does it bleach it?

I'm not sure whether lemon juice brings out your natural highlights or whether it bleaches. However I do know that fresh lemons work best because the have nothing that takes out the acidity in the juice, which means its acidity is higher than lemon juice diluted by water (which some lemon juices in the bottles are). If you use fresh lemons, no it is not permanent. It will fade away after a couple of washes.

Does lemon juice actually bring out the natural hightlights in your hair or does it bleach it?

I think you should be carefull putting things on your hair remeber lemons contain acid.In the wrong application it could turn out to be damaging. The products being sold have been tested but use them at your own risk.

Does lemon juice actually bring out the natural hightlights in your hair or does it bleach it?

yes

Does lemon juice actually bring out the natural hightlights in your hair or does it bleach it?

ok people say that it just lightens your hair a little bit...but when my sis was like...12 she went to my aunts pool...and she put like alot of lemon juice in her hair...and it totally ****** up her hair...like one spot was like a total diff color...it wasnt even ....she had 2 diff color hair tones for like the next 2 years cos she didnt cut it...lol i remember that it was bad...seriously dont do it...and if you do ...do like 5 sprays......

Does lemon juice actually bring out the natural hightlights in your hair or does it bleach it?

Yes it does but you must always remember that a lemon has acid with in so it can dry your hair ....

Does lemon juice actually bring out the natural hightlights in your hair or does it bleach it?

Yes it does, but you have to bein the sun for it to work. Theres also an inexpensive product (that I've never treid, but I heard it works) called Sun-In, which is a spray, but still requires sunlight.

Pretty soon, I'm going to try a henna shampoo. It's suppoed to be, for example, like a lemon juice for people with dark hair, like me. Lemon doesn't work on black/dark brown hair. Henna actually lightens naturally to a more of an auburn tint with repeated use. It's the same stuff that people from India use to stain their hands in elaborate floral designs on special occasions, like a wedding. I can't wait to order it :D

Here's the link if anyone wants it:

http://www.folica.com/Klorane_Henna_S_d4...

PS. You don;t need the sun for this. For blonde hair though I think it darkens it and it may be uneven. I'm not sure if you should use this if youre a blonde.

Does lemon juice actually bring out the natural hightlights in your hair or does it bleach it?

actually the spray is artificial SO it bleaches your hair if put real lemon juice to your hair it gives shine to your hair

Naturally really damaged hair products?

i have naturally really damaged hair. i was born with the type of hisr that no one wants and is really frizzy and sooooo easily damaged (and i have alot of split ends). is there anything i can put in my hair (shampoos, conditioners, sprays, etc.) that can help repeard my problem? anything that is under 15 dollars?

thanks

Naturally really damaged hair products?

Try olive oil. It works wonders. Just cover your hair in it and leave it in for a few hours then wash it out. It might take more than one wash. If you have super damaged hair do it every week. It really works great, it's natral, doesn't harm the earth, and super affordable!

That will work better than anything, but if you really don't feel comfortable doing that, buy some leave in conditioners,or when done washing your hair, turn the shower off, smother your hair in conditioner and leave it on for 3-6 minutes, then rinse well. Makes hair soft.

Email for tips about olive oil if interesting.

Naturally really damaged hair products?

...go on youtube and look up natural hair products...I have learned alot and once you learn what works for your hair you will realise your hair isn't bad it is the things you are doing to/ putting in it...go to google and do youtube, hair products, natural...

Naturally really damaged hair products?

do you have fabric conditioner its used on clothes to make them soft try little of that in your hair it makes it very soft and its cheap i use it every few months

Naturally really damaged hair products?

First, get a hair cut. Not just a trim, a cut. Get about 2 inches cut off. Try Dove Advanced Care Therapy shampoo and conditioner. Washing your hair every other day reduces damage and eliminating heat styling also helps alot. Drinking alot of water helps keep it healthy and moisturized. Try rinsing your hair in cold water right before you get out of the shower, it adds shine and smoothes the hair cuticle. =)

Naturally really damaged hair products?

Mayonnaise is great; olive oil is hell to get out of your hair, just takes forever. Pantene makes a great leave in conditioner for heavily damaged hair. You can also get one of the Revlon ceramic straighteners they have them at Walmart.

Naturally really damaged hair products?

try a thick, cream, leave-in conditioner. instead of rinsing out, it conditions all day long and also helps with smoothing frizz. a really good brand that i recommend would be LoReal.

Naturally really damaged hair products?

not really repairing hair only helps some. I suggest getting all the split ends cut off and starting new. thats what I did and within a month my hair was extremely totally healthier and better. there are deep conditioners but damage/split ends are hard to fix.

Naturally really damaged hair products?

hair does not grow damaged but certain treatment can lead to damaged hair. use a comb not a brush (increases split ends). do not rub or yank hair. do not use hair items that break or bend hair (rubber bands, anything with metal). repair is possible but the split ends will have to be trimmed at some point. chemicals in most hair products make problems worst by drying out hair.

Daria's hair?

How do i get my hair this way ( with the minimal of hair products ie. sprays, vloumizers..)

--%26gt; http://cdn.rsc02.net/ig.rsc02.net/respon...

Daria's hair?

Go to bed with damp (not wet) hair that you've put some mousse into. Put it in a loose braid and clip the end into a roller.

Daria's hair?

Grow your hair first.

Before you go to bed, twist your hair tightly into a bun, dampen it slightly and sleep in it. Your hair should be gentily waved in the morning.
