How can i keep my hair straight throughout the day after flat ironing once in the morning?

i flat iron my hair once in the morning and throughtout the day it slowly curls back to how it was but i want it to stay straight.. what can i do?

i tried the herbal essence dangerously straight finishing spray to keep my hair straight but it just kinda clumps my hair strands together..

How can i keep my hair straight throughout the day after flat ironing once in the morning?

use a chi- a lot of heat will keep your hair straight. i dont recommend using a chi everyday because so much heat isnt good for your hair. unfortunately there isnt any other way to keep your hair straight. i know that chis are expensive so just use the highest heat setting on your flat iron and brush your hair throughout the day. hope this helps :)

How can i keep my hair straight throughout the day after flat ironing once in the morning?

I'm not all that sure because that's what happens to my hair. I would use Frizz-ease humidity spray.

How can i keep my hair straight throughout the day after flat ironing once in the morning?

Flat iron it but dont use anything on it... Allow ur hair to dry completely b4 flat ironning it... Whats happening is that it is till wet and thats why it curls up again. Sprays make it not last long for me* plus gives it a yucky feeling..

How can i keep my hair straight throughout the day after flat ironing once in the morning?

you can have your hair professionally straightened in a salon then you would have to worry about straightening your hair or having it curl back during the day.

this sounds like a lot of damage to your hair when you could easily solve this problem. JUST SHAVE YOUR DAMN HEAD BALD!

How do you make your hair lighter?

is it true that when you spray lemon on your hair it will make it lighter? if it doesn't work, what other ways can you make your hair from black to a dark brown. any other way but dying you hair and standing under the sun...PLEASE HELP!

How do you make your hair lighter?

Soak your hair in hydrogen peroxide

How do you make your hair lighter?

put lemon juice in your hair if you want your hair to be neon orange.

How do you make your hair lighter?

try putting heena in your hair.

How do you make your hair lighter?

i heard that if you have dark hair and you shampoo with stuff made for blondes it will actually lighten your hair. try sheer blonde from john frieda and it should bring out your lighter tones without coloring.

How do you make your hair lighter?

First of all the lemon juice thing only works if you sit under the sun. Second of all if you put lemon juice in dark hair and sit under the sun it will turn your hair red. Honestly, the only way to lighten dark hair is to dye it.

How do you make your hair lighter?

the only way u can lighten ur hair with lemon juice is if u put it in ur hair and then go into the sun... umm it matters what color hair u have.. if u have blonde u can use peroxide... if u have brown u can use henna.... and black.. i dont know about =]

How do you make your hair lighter?

It is true, as is standing under the sun. But that would take a lot of time, and a lot of lemons to get it to make a real difference - and would damage your hair just as much as dyeing it. And dyeing only takes half an hour if that!

Going to a profesional is your best option, because lightening dark hair (which needs a permanent dye by the way) is known for resulting in accidents (the usual is your hair turns bright orange).

ALL hair colours can be dyed light, but it requires bleach.

Henna will turn your hair red, it is made of red pigment, bleach will remove the colour from your hair, and then you can dye over that hair with the colour you desire - which can be any colour light or dark!

How do you make your hair lighter?

the way i did it hydrogen peroxide but i went for blond so use very little of it but test it on a sample b 4 doing the whole thing

How do you make your hair lighter?

you should go to a salon to buy something they sell i dont know what is called but u just but it on like if it was oil for your hair but its not oil but it works you just stop using it when u reached the color you want

=]

How do you make your hair lighter?

If you have black hair no matter how you look at it you will have to strip the color from your hair which is not good for your hair. I am not saying that you would have to stip all the color from it but any form of lightening is stripping it. You wouldnt be dying it. Dying your hair is when you are adding color to it . Just like when you dye clothes. You can add color and change a lighter color to a darker color but to change a dark color to a lighter color you have to strip the color from it first. Black hair has a way of usually coming out a redish color no matter what and not brown. Before you start experimenting I would talk to a hair stylist first that can show you what type of results you can expect.

How can I give my long, fine hair more body w/out using too many sprays or gels?

I hear sprays have alcohol which dry out your hair, and gels slow hair growth. I'd like to avoid using any types of irons cause those tend to be damaging, too.

Any other alternatives?

Sidenote: My hair is down to my lower back, and I like it that way, is it a hopeless cause?

How can I give my long, fine hair more body w/out using too many sprays or gels?

Well I have the same problem myself. I have fine hair since I'm Asian. To really help aid the situation, you have several alternatives. You can take vitamins to help your hair grow stronger and thicker. I generally take a multi-vitamin along with zinc on a daily basis. You can also cut your hair in layers. That will help give you more body and make you look like you have more hair. Remember that the more hair you cut, the more volume you'll get. I used to have hair down to the middle of my back, but eventually cut it to about two inches below my neck and it was the best thing I ever did. Even though I missed my hair, my mom said that I finally had life to my face. My long hair used to drag my face down making me look lifeless all the time, but this really helped it. Plus, the fact that I used Paul Mitchell's strengthening shampoo and conditioner helped it look even thicker. My bf always was a firm believer that if you're going to spend money on a product, get the best. And at first I'd go with the cheap Pantene brand, but after much coaxing switched to Paul Mitchell and can never go back. Good luck to you in the search for more body. Hopefully, my advice helped a bit :)

How can I give my long, fine hair more body w/out using too many sprays or gels?

why yes, yes i do think of questions like that in my spare time. and it is super. try mouse. Report It

How can I give my long, fine hair more body w/out using too many sprays or gels?

Just have the ends cut in a blunt cut. That makes your hair look fuller and healthier.

How can I give my long, fine hair more body w/out using too many sprays or gels?

u can try moose at ur roots when ur hair is damp and take a round brush ( or velcro rollers) and blow dry this will give u more lift. gel doesnt slow down the growth of ur hair . also if ur not afriad to cut ur hair try some layers in the back this too could help .

good luck

How can I give my long, fine hair more body w/out using too many sprays or gels?

Try using a shampoo that is volumizing. Tressemme has a good one. Also gels do not slow hair growth. Hot rollers are not as damaging to hair as curling irons are. Hope this helps.

How can I give my long, fine hair more body w/out using too many sprays or gels?

ease up on conditioner this will weigh your hair down, also use a diffuser and dry hair upside down

How can I give my long, fine hair more body w/out using too many sprays or gels?

Pretty much if you are stuck with fine hair it's not going to ever have much body. Layering helps, but a lot of times you can't layer fine hair. If you braid your hair, lots of braids, or french braids, or curlers, or braids and curlers and sleep with that (ouch), you will have some body, but a lot of times with fine hair that doesn't last very long.

Hair. help.?

i want to use those dyes that spray in for my hair. i also want them to wash out when i want them to but not fade. i have no clue where to get them. can you help?

Hair. help.?

If you have blonde hair it may stay in longer than you want but you can easily get it out by deep cleansing shampoos. Sally's Beauty Supply has a wide variety of spray in clrs. Hopefully your not talking about covering gray because there isn't anything for that.If you have brown hair you may need to use brighter clrs to show up.

Hair. help.?

u can use the herbal essence hair dye mousse. it washes out in about 3 weeks. it is in a little can and it mousse. u can get it in all different colors. and u can find it in pretty much anywhere that has hair dye. it is about 4 dollars a can. depending on how dark u want it and how thick ur hair is use all of the bottle or 2. it works great

Messy, frizzy curly Hair?

What is the best shampoo/conditioner for long, frizzy, curly hair that won't will poof when not moussed or sprayed. Also what hair products work best to keep curls soft and curly so that they can be worn down without looking messy -- like some of the styles on tv.

Messy, frizzy curly Hair?

Pantene Pro V for Curly hair, its the only one that makes my curls nice, sepearted and springy and gets the knots out!!!

Messy, frizzy curly Hair?

ok .. i have the same issue LOL.... believe or not .. i jsut switched to SUAVE .. yes SUAVE.. for curly hair.. it works great.. its a new line they have.. finally something .. but i do like to change it up every few months....been using it for 2 months and im happy with it ... they also have a line of products.. and its saving me $$$

Messy, frizzy curly Hair?

Shampoo and conditioner use Smooth down by Redken and for products use the line Curly Sexy Hair by Sexy Hair Concepts

Messy, frizzy curly Hair?

I have similar hair to the way in which you have described yours. The shampoos that I have found work best are Sunsilk for waves and curls, Kerastase Bain Satin 3 (quite expensive) and I also like the boots coconut and almond deep conditioner. I would also sugguest using Pantene Pro-V mousse on slightly towel dried hair. Then scrunch it up with your hands and spray on some Pantene Pro-V curl gel spray. If you don't already have a hair diffuser, it is definately 100% worth investing in as it evens out the air flow of your hairdryer to prevent frizz and it defines your curls. I think you would find that most celebrities with natural movement in their hair use a diffuser. Hope this helps x

Help! with hair?

i dampened my hair and put frizz cream and a curl perfecting spray on and my hair is frizzy!!!!! i have to leave in 20minute so does anyone know how to get rif of the frizz?!?!? and make mu curls look better

Help! with hair?

Do you have a blow dryer? Take a brush and blow your hair while dragging the brush through your hair tightly. It's also going to straighten it but you won't have frizz. Or use some pommade if you have it. But if you are using something to bring out your curls then it is working against you trying not to have frizz. A tiny bit of pommade can make the frizzies disappear.

Help! with hair?

what about using a good anti frizz conditioner??? they seem to work on me.

Help! with hair?

Swip a Dryer sheet over/Thourgh your hair..Then Spary with a light hair spray

Help! with hair?

Try a lil bit of lotion, not too much or it will be greasy but just enough to slick it down, be careful around your roots, because it gets greasy lookin really easy there

Help! with hair?

Well, today the frizz probably won't leave. I suggest for future to wash your hair with a really good shampoo conditioner set designed for curly hair. When I was permed I like fresh curls by redken. For today, I suggest putting the hair up in a loose messy bun and adding a nice head scarf. Simple but nice. I really don't think all the above product is necessary so I'd say good shampoo conditioner and just the curl perfecting spray. Oh, stay away from heat tools because they equal frizz no matter how good of hair care you have.

Create a fast updo.

Help! with hair?

lotion works for cheap

or you can go to a salon and buy this serum that gets rid of frizz. its called silk but you can get it in other brands but its kinda expensive but it works i use it.

Help! with hair?

Stop washing it all the time- if you have curyl hair you should wash it no more than once a week and with a shampoo that does not contain laurelyth sulfates as this cleaning agent will make your hair frizzy since its job is to remove grease. Curly hair needs some oil to keep in shape.

Help! with hair?

for a way to end frizzy hair try garnier fructis sleek and shine or the garnier fructis body and volume. it will leave your hair stronger and so shinier. stop using it and your hair will be messed up, but keep using it and your hair will do wonders for you. give it a shot.

Does anyone else straighten their hair everyday?

I straighten my hair alot. I have a chi straightener. I use the chi protecting spray all of my hair and put in in and comb it through. I use treseme condtionar. Is that good?

My hair is still a bit frizzy?

Is there any really good products that keep hair nice and healthy?

Anything that will add alot of moisture and keep it less frizzy?

thanks!

Does anyone else straighten their hair everyday?

I do! I use Infusium 23 spray [I think that's what it's called] and I condition my hair every day. You might want to try getting a straightening shampoo/conditioner so you can lower the temperature of the straightener a little bit.

Does anyone else straighten their hair everyday?

Does anyone else straighten their hair everyday?

i heard that chi was a really good product, so if your hair is still frizzy then you must have curly hair right lol? or sometimes when its humid, my striaghtened hair gets like that too.

Does anyone else straighten their hair everyday?

I straighten mine everyday too. I use this spray called infuzium and it repairs broken hair and helps it stay healthy. Basically try not to straighten your hair on an extremely high temperature of you will burn your hair, and straightening hair breaks your hair too.

Does anyone else straighten their hair everyday?

when i used to it would break off and stuff just my input. I only straighten my hair twice a year at the most now and it's thriving.

When i do flatiron my hair i first moisturize with NTM Silk-Touch then use Redken Heat Glide for defrizzing and heat protectant.

I deep condition once a week with a protein conditioner(Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayonaisse, Aphogee Keratin Reconstructor) followed by a moisturizing conditoner(Elasta QP DPR11+Honey, coconut oil, coconut milk, and evoo). The coconut milk is very good because it makes my hair so strong but also soft!

How do I get rid of my poofy hair?

So heres the deal...I have very poofy hair. It seems like no matter what I do to it, it always is poofy. When I straighten it it goes straight for a few minutes and immediately gets poofy. And it is definately not staticky its poofy. Anyways...I have tried everysingle shampoo and conditioner. When I use anti-poof lotion or serum things, I need to use so much of it, and then my hair looks really really greasy. However, when I use gel spray and stuff, my hair is really really stiff. I am really stuck, and have no idea what to do. Oh yeah, and my hair isn't dry, because I know that some people have poofy hair because theirs is dry, but trust me mine isnt. So...please please please help me, please!

THANKS!

How do I get rid of my poofy hair?

If your hair is really poofy like you say then maybe you should getting a relaxer. i makes your hair lay down flat. when you curl relaxed hair its beautiful. then only downside is that you have to get them every 6 weeks but you can do them yourself and they have very easy clear directions. they only cost about 6 to 9 dollars hope i was help

How do I get rid of my poofy hair?

i think poofy is really cute. really! just embrace it, it's a part of you, after all. just saying poofy makes me smile... remember ice age? "i;m not fat, i'm just poofy". so... have a poofy day ;)

Will lemonjuice remove hair dye?

i had medium brown hair %26amp; i dyed it black in february. my roots are coming back but the bottom of my hair is still black. if i spray lemonjuice on my hair %26amp; sit in the sun, will it come out? any other personal solutions? please be SERIOUS!

Will lemonjuice remove hair dye?

That will turn ur hair orange I would suggest that I do know that there is a peroxide hairdye remover but as far as I know you have to go to a salon for that. Why not just dye it back?

Will lemonjuice remove hair dye?

Go to a hairdresser who specializes in color correction and let a professional do it.

DO NOT put lemon juice in your hair. your hair will turn a brassy messy ugly orange!

If you must try it at home try washing your hair with Joy Dish detergent. This might remove some of the color. Or else, go to the beauty supply store and buy a color remover for the hair. Revlon makes it. You mix the solution with 20 volume peroxide. You are stripping the color out of your hair. Then buy a light-medium brown or neutral color filler. Apply this to your hair. Do not rinse out. Get 10 volume peroxide and the hair color of your choice. Apply the color to your hair for about 15-20 mins. depending on your personal hair type. This should work.

You should cut some of your hair from the back and do a test first so you can determine the right amount of time it takes so your hair won't come out some dark. Then condition, condition, condition,condition... Don't' apply to much heat or pulling to your hair as it will be very fragile. You might want to buy some Aphogee treatment for damages hair ( you need a hard or soft hat dryer for this to work the best. if not a blow dryer will suffice.)

Good luck!

Dry, damaged hair?

Okay, so I have to blow dry and straighten my hair everyday and as a result of that my hair is very dry and damaged. It's almost hard to even get a brush through it anymore. I use a 'smoothing' shampoo and conditioner, as well as a shine spray everyday, but my hair still look damaged and dry. Any suggestions of how to correct this??

Dry, damaged hair?

Dont wash your hair everyday, start washing it every other. many hair sylists suggest this because curly/wavy hair is naturally more dry than straight hair. If you are afraid of it looking greasy, you can get a dry shampoo (try bumble %26amp; bumble hair powder) or baby powder works if you have light hair. Also try waiting to blow dry your hair until its 90% dry. Shine spray is great, but you need to use heat protectant serum, ( try John Friedas Freeze Ease Thermal protectant) which you put in when your hair is still damp. Smoothing shampoos can also do more harm than good, they put a waxy coat on your hair which can cause it to look dull and frazzled. Try using a clarifying shampoo once a week ( Try Tressemme clarifying shampoo %26amp; conditioner.) Leave in conditioners are great, i use paul mitchell leave in spray before i blow dry and comb it through with my fingers and let it air dry. also, DO NOT BRUSH your hair, it causes more split ends.

Dry, damaged hair?

Shave it all off and start fresh?

Im being deadly serious its the only solution unless you wait for a year or so untill it grows and then just cut it.

But my hair was really badly damaged and i had to shave it off and start fresh.

Dry, damaged hair?

Well, i have the same problem as you. But a week ago i stopped straightening my hair completely, and used leave in conditioners! my hair is already starting to look better! All of my friends straighten their hair, so I find hairstyles that won't look like i've not straightened it. My favourite is the messy bun.

Use a shampoo thats for dry/damaged hair and use leave in conditioners and hair treatments.

Hope this helps! good luck %26lt;3

Dry, damaged hair?

Once a week give it qa hot oil treatment, it will help.

Dry, damaged hair?

use a leave in conditioner twice a week. this will help a lot. also get your ends cut off. this will also help a lot. good luck!

Spraying milk on your hair ?

I heard that sparying milk on your hair 20 min. before you take a shower helps improve the health of your hair. Is this true ?

How do I tell my hairdresser to be GENTLE with my hair??

ok im a bit weird..i have a phobia of hairdressers and salons (its true)..i always bring my own hair cutting scissors, brush /combs, spray bottle and any hair styling products with me..anyways yesterday i went and got my hair trimmed after a year..i went to a high end salon and my mom was with me..the stylist was pulling on my hair with the comb and she was rushing it..i had wet hair and i could feel my hair breaking..this might be not seem like a big deal for people with short hair but mine is waist length and im growing it longer..when i brush my hair at home i take 30-40 mins to detangle and 10 mins to brush..i might just give up on the going to the salon and just trim my own hair..i'm just really sad =(

How do I tell my hairdresser to be GENTLE with my hair??

That's not acceptable... i would say trim your own hair, or get your mom or a friend to do it. if your hair is all one length than this should be easy. If you want them to be gentle, just say it. or you can get your mom to lol

How do I tell my hairdresser to be GENTLE with my hair??

Never go back to that salon.

How do I tell my hairdresser to be GENTLE with my hair??

pick a stylist by calling around to several first and tell them u r tender headed and that your hair is very long and fragile and tht you are looking for a new stylist because you are tired of the last one pulling your hair hard and breaking it and ask them if they are willing to be gentle with you..also make sure you purchase a very high quality pair of scissors designed to be used by a professional from a beauty supply store as regular scissors will damage your hair a lot..if the stylist doesnt sound like they are willing to take u seriously over the phone then call another one if they sound like they might be ok then tell them to set u up with an appointment and tell them u will give them a try and will come back to them only if they do a good job and dont break your hair. honestly what u really need to find is a gay male hairdresser as they tend to be more sensitive what you have been experiencing in the past is dressers that are actually jealous of your hair who were damaging it on purpose or on an unconcious level.

How do I tell my hairdresser to be GENTLE with my hair??

I am a retired Hairdresser. I would have sprayed your hair with a de-tangler, this helps with the tangles because it lays the cuticle down and causes the hair to feel smoother. I would also use a wide tooth comb so the hair would not pull and break off. If this Hairdress was hurting you or actually breaking your hair you need to speak up and tell her. I would have never wanted to intentionaly hurt someone in all the years I did hair. I loved my work and wanted my customers to love coming to me. Maybe try another Hairdresser, if telling this one does not work. There are many wonderful hairdressers out there. I actually have found two I just love and that is something for an x-hairdreser. My best to you, Hope you fine someone who will make you happy.

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

I am using sun-in (with lemon) hair lightener, and after u spray it in ur hair u go out in the sun and the sun lightens it; HOWEVER, it has been really dreary here with no sun. Is there any other way which can substitute for sunlight?- Thanks!

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

tanning beds or other heat lamps

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

tanning bed?

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

Tanning bed

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

you can use a blow dryer. it doesnt work AS well, but it will still work

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

sun beds? i dunno

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

sure sit under a lamp all day...

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

hairdryer would work

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

Use a blow dryer it works just the same.

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

cant u get one of those sunlight lamps

or is there no such thing :S

lmao x

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

A UV lamp but be careful, too much Sun In turns your hair orange.

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

hahaaa :) try with with solarium :)

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

any form of u.v light xxxx

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

use a blow dryer on low heat . put the sun in in, and blow dry your hair,

this works for me .

do it a few times and your hair will brighten , :)

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

tanning bed?

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

tanning beds i guess. not sureeeeeeee

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

no. tanning beds and lamps wont work, i can tell you that

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

Wait to use it until the sun comes out.

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

BlowDry That DO!!!! YAAR!!!! =)

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

DONT USE SUN-IN

i used to but its sooooo bad for your hair! my hair dresser went mad haha and it doesn't turn it blonde it turns it yellow!!

uhhh jst get highlights or toner!

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

you can also try putting the sun-in in your hair and then blow drying it for a few minutes(but not more then 10 minutes). Just blow dry it until the sun-in dries.

the effects arent as obvious as if you had sat outside in the sun, but you can still tell there is a difference.

hope i helped

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

you could use a tanning lamp or a heat lamp. I wouldn't use sun-in in the first place a friend of mine did and it turned her hair orange. I hope I helped :)

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

Tanning salon!!!

my hair naturally gets lighter in there.

so with you new awesome lighter hair you'll have an awesome tan.

thats so Cali...

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

I think you can use Sun-in with a hair dryer... at least I think you used to be able to do that. If I'm not mistaken, the heat from the hair dryer will activate it. It's been a really long time. I can't believe they still make Sun-in.

Sorry showing my age here. :)

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

I'm sorry, but don't use it!!!

A tanning bed will not work as well as the sun.

I have used sun-in and blew it dry and its definitely not the same as when its in the sun. It comes out much more orangy.

Please just wait until there is sun!!!

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

Get on a unicorn and fly it towards the sun. Once you are close to the sun, put the Sun-In in your hair and tell the Unicorn to kill itself because you hate it. That usually works for me.

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

If you want a fast way to get it done instead of waiting.

Then go to a salon..

There are a lot of down falls if your thinking about using tanning beds and you dont need to take those risks

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

even though the sun is not out UV rays are still comin' through the clouds...(fact: people can get sunburned worse on days that the sun isn't even out) I think as long as you're outside u'll be fine, and it should work.

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

lemon bleaches your hair but you will make your hair really dry out.

Hair Question (EASY 10 POINTS!!!.....or 2!!!)?

go taning in a tanning bed or stick you head under a heating lamp.or also try blowdring it bur only for like 15 to 20 minutes (: hope this helps

Does that Sun In Spray work?

I just bought that spray that lightens your hair in the sun, and I don't want to take any chances... how does it do?

Does that Sun In Spray work?

i have a lightish darkish brown hair and i used it last summer and i reallyy liked it. sometimes it can turn your hair orange or green but thats a chance your just gonna have to be willing to take. my friends mom put it in her hair when she was younger [she has blonde hair] and it turned BRIGHTT orange. i liked the color my hair turned. what you should do is put it on a peice of hair thats not extreamly noticable first and see how it turns out. if you like the result of the color, put it on your whole head. if you dont like the result of the color, dont put it on your whole head. thats the best way to go without taking a hugeee chance of it turning orange and not being able to turn it back to normal.

GOOD LUCK !!!! =]

Does that Sun In Spray work?

first if your going to use it make sure you have natural blonde hair...I have 2 friends that used that stuff...one it turned out great the other a dyed blond it made it seem brittle and damaged..if you dont have blond hair ...instead brunette or darker it turnes funny shades like orange

Does that Sun In Spray work?

yeah because me and my sister uses it after we dye our hair.

Does that Sun In Spray work?

Yes, but be very careful. I had light brown hair and I sprayed it all over my hair. The top layer turned orange! Then when it grew out, I had orange hair with brown roots.

Does that Sun In Spray work?

I use it, and if you don't go crazy with it, your hair will look naturally lighter.

Does that Sun In Spray work?

It can leave your hair very brittle, so once you've lightened it a bitr, use some serious conditioner-type stuff. What I'd suggest is putting a little on for a short while, and then if you want to go lighter, do it in another short session. Don't lighten all at once, because then your hair will be very mad at you.

Does that Sun In Spray work?

do not use it if u have brown hair it turn ur hair orange!!!!

Does that Sun In Spray work?

it turned my dark hair red. and it took years, and countless dark hair dyes later it finally left my hair. The color was like a fox's fur. It does not highlight your hair, it dyes it.

Thin hair?!?

I have very thin hair and I want to make it thicker. I tried everything I could think of, columizing shampoo, volumizing sprays, conditioners, layers, hair cute, vitamins, blow drying it upsidedown, EVERYTHING! Is there any way to make it thicker besides getting extensions or a weave?

Thin hair?!?

Okay, firstly, many, MANNNNNYYYY girls go to the salon monthly getting hair thinned out and wishing they had thin hair because it's easier to manage. I have fine hair as well, so I can understand your frustration with it.

First of all, many products do NOT work, so just stop wasting your money and your hair's health. Get a straight cut... layers will make it look thinner and wispy if not done a very SPECIFIC way. Wear your hair up in a medium ponytail and jazz it up with a cute barette or scrunchie. Try wearing your hair down and NOT having it parted totally straight in the middle. STAY AWAY from half-do's... looks awful on thin hair and TOTALLY DOES NOT WORK. Buns are good....

If you have a small or narrow face, try curling your hair from time to time in non-heat rollers, or waving it by french braids or regular braids. It will add volume. Make sure your hair is clean; grease makes it flatter. Add volume by putting a small amount of gel in the roots when still wet and brush back. Let dry overnight while you sleep.

Thin hair?!?

Go to the salon..ASk for thicknning. They can do it.without any of those things. But they may need to use a chemical if you approve of that.(:

I wish u the best of luck!

But i wish i had thin hair like u ): trade?

Thin hair?!?

try like big curls, and kinda brush it out or do like little curls all over your head and then brush it out and put it in a bun. i tried that once. oh it was so cute!! :)

Is it okay to spray perfume here?

It is okay to spray perfume in your hair?i tried it, and it kept the smell pretty long. But, will it do something bad to my head?

Is it okay to spray perfume here?

Yup, it actually holds the smell longer but certain perfumes make my hair frizzy. So watch out for that.

Is it okay to spray perfume here?

It may dry your hair out - perfumes contain a lot of alcohol, but otherwise, no. No damage for spraying your hair, and you're right, it DOES last a long time!!

Is it okay to spray perfume here?

i agree with the other post, it may dry out your hair. But it shouldn't damage your head. I've done it for years, nothing has happend to me.

Is it okay to spray perfume here?

uhhh....i don't think u should spray it in ur hair. It may dry it out and sticky. Spray ur perfume right on ur neck. Some shampoos have a wonderful scent to them. If u want great smelling hair just use Garnier fructis...it has a citrusy smell to it. Or u could use Herbal Essances. Their products have a sweet smell to it,but yet have a flowery smell. AND, if ur hair ever gets dried out, u can use Sunsilk. They have all different kinds of shampoo for frizzy hair, split ends, flat hair, dried out hair, and for volume. The dried out hair is the blue bottle. So (back to ur question) i dont think u should spray ur perfume in ur hair cuz perfume is not meant to be their. I hope i helped. bye

Is it okay to spray perfume here?

As far as I know, it is fine. I prefer to spray it there. This way, every time I walk by my boyfriend he gets a subtle hint of my scent.

Is it okay to spray perfume here?

Spraying perfume on your hair can really dry it out! It's got alcohol in it and can cause split ends and may damage color. However, there are hair refreshers that you can use specifically for scenting hair. If you still want perfume in your hair, spritz the air then walk through it for a lighter touch!

Is it okay to spray perfume here?

it is probably going to dry your hair out if you do it regularly.

If you sun-in your hair blonde and then do swimming in a chlorine pool, does it turn green?

for those of you that don't know what sun-in its this spray thingy and you spray it in your hair and then go out in the sun for a day or use a blowdryer and then it lightens your hair within the next 2 or 3 days

If you sun-in your hair blonde and then do swimming in a chlorine pool, does it turn green?

No but it will make your hair really blonde like white and it is hard on your hair.

If you sun-in your hair blonde and then do swimming in a chlorine pool, does it turn green?

ok now i understand , i dont think it should , but it might because that stuff is only supposed to last a couple days , and you dont rinse it out , you dry it out .

If you sun-in your hair blonde and then do swimming in a chlorine pool, does it turn green?

It may but probably it will go a real brassy yellow color.

If you sun-in your hair blonde and then do swimming in a chlorine pool, does it turn green?

Swimming pool water can make any light colored hair turn green regardless of how you got that color of hair. I was born with blonde hair and have always had to wash my hair right after getting out of the pool because if I don't, it starts to look funky.

The best way to deal with this is to wash your hair with shampoo immediately after getting out of the pool. There is special shampoo for swimmers but it is expensive and in my opinion is no better than regular shampoo.

One thing that I am not sure about is the interaction between the Sun-In and the pool water.... you may find that the chlorine in the pool makes the sun-in stronger (lightening your hair faster) or that the pool water washes the Sun-In out of your hair before it has a chance to do anything.

Good luck!

If you sun-in your hair blonde and then do swimming in a chlorine pool, does it turn green?

Yes, but not every time. My daughter is a natural blonde and we have a backyard pool. She had green hair many times.

If you sun-in your hair blonde and then do swimming in a chlorine pool, does it turn green?

I think it would cause it turns normal hair green

How to make my hair like this?

when i got my hair cut 3 days ago, the hairdresser did something on my hair and made it look like this:(sticking out in the back..?) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v411/m...

now, i'd like to know how to make it do that because if i don't do anything with it, my sister says it looks like i have, "mom hair."

any way i can make it look like that again?

btw, the hairdresser used some paul mitchell medium hold spray wax on my hair, and i bought a can of it, so if theres anything i can do using that, even better! :)

thanks!

How to make my hair like this?

2 different things you can do. The wax will definitely do the trick. BUT, not to much or it will weigh it down. You can also use mousse, blow your yair dry upside down. If it's not sticking out enough use a curling iron and curl it up and spray it.

How to make my hair like this?

trying using some moose or gel

How to make my hair like this?

use a curling iron or straight iron to flip your hair out. then you can put the spray on for it to stay that way. :)

How to make my hair like this?

A straightening Iron and some product.

You need to make it really flat with the iron and get it smooth and then point the edges with some gel or pomade or mud or something?

How to make my hair like this?

Just ask your hairdresser- they are usually very glad to give you tips

How to make my hair like this?

put hair gell or puddy whatever your use on your finger tips then run your fingers upward and out on the back of your head where you want the hair to stand up

Why am I losing hair?!?

I'm 19! It seems like I'm losing alot of hair. I especially notice it when I'm in the shower. Even just lightly running my hands through my hair causes quite a few strands to come out!

I haven't been under alot of stress. I don't color my hair often at all, maybe every 6-8 months. I only blowdry or curl maybe once or twice a week, and when I do, I use spray to "protect my hair" from the blowdrying!

What is going on!?

Why am I losing hair?!?

Brush your hair. A lot.

Hair strands die, and when they do, they fall out. But they normally get caught amongst all the strands that are still growing. If you brush your hair a lot, you can get all the dead things out, away from the healthy hair.

If you don't brush often, all of it builds up, and comes out at random times, so you just think you are losing a lot more hair than you really are.

Why am I losing hair?!?

ure just stressed CALM DOWN!!!

Why am I losing hair?!?

well what are you putting on your hair?

Why am I losing hair?!?

that sound pretty normal ur head sheads dead hair daily so new growth can come through, so there is nothing to worry about unless u are getting bald patches then that would be stress or not taking care of your hair properly....

hope this helps.

Why am I losing hair?!?

you are suppose to lose 100 strands of hair a day min it might seem like a lot but it not. you can try to give your self a deep conditioning at least once a week try that and see what happen.

Why am I losing hair?!?

could be hormone related.

Maybe your immune system needs some help. Are you eating well?

I went thru this a few times in the past 30 years. It's scary, but temporary. If you have actual bald spots, see a doctor, otherwise, make your health your number one priority. I feel it's your body reacting to something other than the sprays, dyes, etc.

Why am I losing hair?!?

LOOK AT THIS. VITAMIN B-8, INOSITOL IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HAIR RETENTION-I have a full head of hair without male pattern baldness. What do I know?

Why am I losing hair?!?

Are you showering every day? If so that might be the cause.

Why am I losing hair?!?

im sorry, i have the same thing im 15 and when i put my hands through my hair a few strands also come out. its making my hair even thinner than it is!!! im sorry though hope you find an answer

Does sea salt damage color-treated hair? Read details?

I heard that if you put sea slat in a spray bottle with water and sprayed it in your hair and lightly scrunched it it gave you beachy waves. I get a partial highlight to my hair every 6 months, and its been 5 since my last one. The sea salt won't hurt my hair or dry it out, will it?

Does sea salt damage color-treated hair? Read details?

It will pull out the color....absolutely...color bonds with sulfides(salts) and goes down the drain....that is whty water softiners are so bad for your hair....

Does sea salt damage color-treated hair? Read details?

I'm blonde and I do the salt trick very often. It does dry them a little, but if you wash your hair regularly with a good conditioner and a hair mask, this is just fine!

You can also squirt a little conditioner in the bottle then shake, it's less drying!

Or just buy a spray like Surf Spray by Bumble and Bumble or Summer Hair Beach Waves by Frederic Fekkai.

Curly and Wavy Hair, Also Thick and Poofy.?

After washing my hair, I leave 'em open %26amp; dry naturally. Later, half my hair are curly, as if i had them done at a salon. And other half is wavy. I use the tresseme non-frizz and shine spray to calm my hair down (which sometimes, I have to use a lot). Is there any other way or a product that can help in this situation?

I straghten my hair maybe 2-3 times in a month (It takes an hour cuz they are THICK %26amp; POOFY).

Curly and Wavy Hair, Also Thick and Poofy.?

You have hair with multiple textures, not fun, I would say try fotki.com and type is curly hair, there are alot of people on that site that could help since they have a place for people with hair like your's, good luck.

Curly and Wavy Hair, Also Thick and Poofy.?

My hair is the same way. The top is wavy and the bottom is in spiral curls and it takes me an hour or more to straighten mine too because it is thick and stubborn.

After I get out of the shower, I towel dry my hair as much as I can, brush my hair, then work in a scrunching gel. I flip my hair upsidedown and scrunch it while blowdrying it--focusing on the top parts that dont like to curl. I dry it mostly, but not all the way and let the rest air dry. For me, by the time it is completely dry all of my hair is curled like the bottom.

Sometimes (depending on the weather) I have to use some non-frizz stuff, but most days it just stays in curls.

Hope that helps :)

Curly and Wavy Hair, Also Thick and Poofy.?

Is the side that you sleep on the flatter side? Your hair naturally "freaks" out on the side you sleep on most. Usually that side goes flatter or is harder to style. I would try getting a diffuser for your blow dryer and try drying your curls and see what happens.

Dying black hair blonde without chemicals?

I thought I'd be exciting to turn my hair blond for teh prom thats coming up. How can I achieve this without screwing my hair up permanently with all those chemicals %26gt;.%26lt;

I'm a dude BTW

Any suggested products?

I've seen people at carnivals and circuses get some strange colors sprayed on their hair..wonder what that stuff is.

Dying black hair blonde without chemicals?

You can't. Period. There is no way to get your hair from black to blonde one) temporarily and two) without using chemicals. It just doesn't work that way. Going from black to blonde in any way messes up your hair, because you HAVE to bleach and bleaching is FRYING.

Dying black hair blonde without chemicals?

I have never heard of anything you can do without chemicals at all, but the people at carnivals have like a temporary dye on their hair. For prom that might not be the best, ask your hairdresser.

Dying black hair blonde without chemicals?

the only possible way to do that is spray on hair spray color good luck, hope ya look hot at your prom =)

Dying black hair blonde without chemicals?

Yes you can put peanut butter in there and leave that in there for 2 hours and then wash it out.

Does it work? ????Do I just spray it on my hair before I straighten it, and then straighten it to protect it against the heat?

Its hard to say if it works or not, but you have to wait until it dries on your hair or it won't straighten. My hair hasn't looked any healthier or damaged because of it.

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

A couple years ago my hair was the prettiest naturally straight hair I never even had to straighten,it already looked straightened by prettier and shinier. I wanted to know what it would look like curly which I couldnt do cause it was so straight so I went to the hair salon. I didnt get a perm,or anything permanant, she just used like moose and spray and stuff. My hair was pretty, and when I got home, I wanted to go swimming so bad. finally after a while, I thought it wouldnt mess up my hair and I could fix it later, cause family was over and I didnt wanna be left out. After I got done swimming and my hair dryed my hair turned really puffy/frizzy somewhat wavy and it was so ugly. I thought it would go back to my natural hair after I tried washing it,but it didnt. Ever sience after that I have this ugly hair from that. I straighten it and it looks pretty straightened but its really fried from my straightening it. I was gonna get it chemicly straightened by that will fri it even more. HELP!

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

if you have to do something to get it straight, then it wont be natural.

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

there's no way to get your hair "naturally" straight without being born with it.

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

Keep your hair molded into one position that you like and leave it there for a 24 hours.

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

Naturaly. No. What is Your Hair Now? I always get out of the shower, and keep Brushing it Straight until it dries. Or blow dry it straight.

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

mosturizing shampoo and conditioner and heat protectant should help.

that totaly sux. hope i helped and good luck

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

let your hair grow naturally and stop using those chemicals

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

Wash your hair in mid afternoon, never at night. Brush it vigorously beforehand.

Apply shampoo on top and rinse downwards.

Use conditioner in moderation.

Brush your hair while still in the shower, with a solid plastic brush.

After you have gotten all of your conditioner out, rinse hair in cold water.

Put a towel around your shoulders and let your hair hang loose.

Dry downwards, starting at the back and working forwards.

Dry all except the tips; this will weigh down the hair and when it finally dries, will keep it straighter

Tie up your hair for 10-15 minutes after washing it.

Leave loose and enjoy! 閳?

Was this like last week?,. Wait till all the hair on your head has been replaced by all the hair that has not left your head as of yet, and it should be just "fine and dandy", hehe,. I love george carlin

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

Go back to a good salon and have them blow dry and press your hair. No chemicals needed. Do not try to do it yourself at home because you could damage it more.

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

well go to the salon and tell hem you got you hair done and you hair is frizzy and ask why its dong that and the can perm it strait and it looks pretty natural ive donr it before..... so it really wont do any thing bad just dont keep on doing it...it can make you hair dried out!

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

there is a chemical relaxer, most black woman or people with very coarse hair will get it done. but also they have a vertical relaxer, which is for not so coarse hair. i got it done because i just had poofy frizzy hair naturally if i didnt straighten it. it is really good, id say its no worse than coloring your hair. but i do suggest that you get your hair deep conditioned a couple times before going but only deep condition once every few days or once a week for like 3 weeks and then go and remember its called a vertical relaxer, cuz if you get a chemical relaxer and your hair is not coarse enough, then it will be bad, but after i got my vertical relaxer it was nice and smooth and naturally (well not quite natural) straight

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

no, don't think so. You could just try different hair products see if any work. You could use products for frizzy hair and products like that

Is there any way I can get my hair naturally straight?

Try a relaxer. It'll take awhile, but it'll make it straight.

Help curley hair gets hard help pleas!?

try LOREAL's UPRIGHT Spray !

also try http://www.curlyhair.com or haircurls.com

Help curley hair gets hard help pleas!?

yea the sprunch spray really does harden your hair. get the mouse, i prefer the kind that prays, that way you spray it on your roots, then come your hair to distribute it all over then you can scrunch it. i use loreal's upright spray, it gives you more volume and lets you scrunch your hair.

Ok... about my hair...?

ok i have very thick, curly red (natural, not dyed) hair. i have a really bad straightener (recomend a good one plz!) but when it is straight and i put this Tresseme Humidity Cream stuff (thats not the exact title) but once i spray it on, my hair curls back up again! i mean, if my hair touches practically any liquid, it cursls and frizzes. i need something to help my hair when it is humid, but i cant seem to find anything that will work. plz help me. i want my hair to look sleek and straight but idk wat to do!?

Ok... about my hair...?

Well what I recommend is you buy a conair straitener not the cheap kind, its not that expensive, my cuz has hair like yours but hers is so much worse and she used a conair straitener and it works, she didnt use any hair products like gel.

Ok... about my hair...?

I would suggest that you just plastic wrap your hair as soon as you are done straightening it and that way no liquid can get to it and it will stay nice. Yes, you make look somewhat comical, but it will definately work.

Ok... about my hair...?

get a flatiron and fix your hair using that and see if that might help.

Ok... about my hair...?

get a RED and BLACK straightner from the salon. if its not red and black, make sure its black (on the outside) because those are the powerful ones. if its expensive and at a salon, buy it. and try garnier sleek and shine products. it works good.

Ok... about my hair...?

If you're that worried about you're hair, all you really have to do is find you're best shampoo/conditioner, try to streighten your hair. If that does'nt work, just start to put your hair up in pony tails/ bunns.

Ok... about my hair...?

um try garnier frutis...they have everything and i remember seeing a comercial about stuff about frizzy hair as soon as moisture....um but sorry i dont remember what its called

best of luck

Ok... about my hair...?

maybe it is best to get a perm if you want straight sleek hair.

Ok... about my hair...?

buy a CHI straightener. the one with the red fuzzy stuff on the outside. i think its called a turbo. it'll put you back about $120 but its the best straightener i have ever had and my hair stays straight all day long.

i cant really help with the humidity problem, because its not really humid where i live.

you could try getting your hair japanese straightened, it costs around $200 but your hair will stay perfect without any maintence. if you are considering any type of straightening do the japanese one, not the chemical because that only works for about 2 weeks.

Does your hair ever get "STICKY" after using products??

Just wondering? i usually never use products (other than a good shampoo, conditionar, and straightening serum)

but now i'm trying out new stuff, like this spray wax....well, being the first time i've ever used it, i overdid it. so now here i am typing, with way to much spray wax in my hair.....its got a somewhat-sticky texture to it.

anyways, this just lead me to think

"Hm......do most ppl, who use alot of products (4 or more) usually have kinda sticky hair by the time they finish applying all the products?????"

well,i guess......do they? or do YOU???

Does your hair ever get "STICKY" after using products??

I don't use more than 4 products regularly but when I do my hair definitely feels sticky...I was doing a photo shoot and I had 4 different styles done by 3 different stylists. Mousse, gel, hairspray, straightening serum, shampoo, conditioner, and hair thinner WERE ALL USED, especially because I have long, thick frizzy hair. But, once I take a shower it all comes out.

Does your hair ever get "STICKY" after using products??

I use the wax occasionally and at first it was sticky ....i just tried using different amounts ......try applying it to your fingers and just dab it through your hair ..its suppose to make it hold and look piecey ..so maybe try it again just use a different technique and a little less product..

Hope this was helpful

Does your hair ever get "STICKY" after using products??

No, just depends on the product. Any kind of wax, gel, or pomade can make your hair sticky. But spray wax is the ultimate worst as far as it being sticky.

Does your hair ever get "STICKY" after using products??

depends on which products and how much you're using. If you're new to the product game just keep experimenting with types and amounts of products till you find what works for you. Or ask your stylist, they'll show you exactly what and how much they're using and why, but sometimes you've gotta ask.

Can I put temporary hair color over my permanent highlights?

For Halloween I'm going to be a goth/punk rocker (sorry for labelling, lack of better words). I'm going to spray streaks of temporary hair color in my hair that washes out in the shower.. but i already have permanent non-bleach highlights. When I wash the temporary streaks out, will my permanent streaks that I sprayed on top of fade, change color or be stripped out? If it's not a good idea to put the color in, do you have suggestions of punk hairstyles where i do not have to damage my hair?

Thanks!

Can I put temporary hair color over my permanent highlights?

i don't think thats such a good idea! i say it'ld be best if you well i don't know! you should either stay with your natural color or go with the temporary and then put fake highlights over that!

Can I put temporary hair color over my permanent highlights?

Well, i have not dyed my hair, but i do do a lot of reading beauty magazines, and if you bought the product to make it temporarily last a few hours, it will all wash out when you take a shower and no damage will be done.

Can I put temporary hair color over my permanent highlights?

Tt shouldn't strip your highlights. Wash out sprays are made to wash out of your hair without damaging your hair or perminant colours in your hair. If you really are worried though perhaps wear a wig???

Legs...hair removal???

my legs get irritated when waxing and shaving. I've been using veet and that doesn't irritate that much but it doesn't keep the hair gone very long, I'll shave at night then my hair will be growing back the next day. I was wondering if anyone has used sally hansen's spray-on shower-off hair remover. if you have then does it work and how long does it keep hair away for?

Legs...hair removal???

Wow, I've used Sally Hansen's Spray-On, Shower Off hair remover, and I love it! I was using this product ( I still like it ) called Nads- it's in a gel - and you smooth it on your legs and then use one of their cloths they provide, press down and rip the cloth off, and you have smooth, hairless legs. But I've had even better luck with the Sally Hansen product! (I didn't even know this was possible!) It keeps the hair growth on your legs away for about three to four days! I was amazed that it was actually better than Nads. Try it! I was so surprised and happy with my results! Good luck!

Legs...hair removal???

I would use Nair it is the best cause you do not ever get a cut or anything that you might get with shaving I hope this helps I aslo recommend the Nair Facial remover too and your hair doesn't grow back to fast.

Legs...hair removal???

I've used it , and it's crap. Be sure when you shave to use shaving cream and a good razor. Hopefully that'll make your legs stay smooth for 3-4 days. Good Luck!!

Legs...hair removal???

Well i have never tried it but have you ever used moisturizer on your legs? I mean like night regenerating (sp?) ones..

I use nivea night cream and it stops my legs from being irritated and surprisingly also to keep the hairs from growing back so fast! (gasp yes i know.. strange)

But also don't use Vett use Venus gel one, it has different types for sensitive skin, i think you should try it =]

I need help for my unruly african american hair!!!!?

My hair is just past my boobs, and is very kinky, and curly. It tends to get poofy sometimes (afro). It is dark. I like to straighten my hair, and I need a spray, or cream to put on my hair dry, to protect it from heat. I need a good shampoo, and condtioner to help straighten it, and keep nutrients in it. I heard sunsilk hairapy is good. Last of all I need a cream, or spray to keep my hair in place. So that when i get in to the pool, my hair does not turn into a poof ball. Probably someting I can put on my hair while it is dry. I am on a budget, so it should not be to much

I need help for my unruly african american hair!!!!?

For straightening hair I suggest either a ceramic straightening iron, a good blow dryer, or a combo of the two. But with all this heat you'll need something to protect your hair, I suggest a good hair grease (such as blue magic, parnevu, etc), as hair grease tends to protect against heat more than creams do. But if you prefer a cream, try pink lusters oil moisturizer, it keeps hair moisturized very well and protects very well against heat. A really good shampoo is pantene's relaxed and natural, it make the hair feel straighter after washing and the matching conditioner is thick, creamy and smooth. Now as for something to keep your hair in place during the day while it is dry, there are creams and pomades specific for African American hair to keep it in place, just use a dab, not a whole lot because your hair will become a greasy mess. Now for the creams for the pool, sorry to tell ya but none exist, if someone says that they do exist, they're lying. Black hair and pools just do not mix very well. My hair turns into a poof after my hair dries from swimming and I have a relaxer. The thicker more coarse black hair tends to absorb more water and moister than most other types of hair, making it prone to poofing. I suggest not putting anything into your hair right before going swimming because it will run out of your hair and into your face and the water and may cause breakouts along your hairline. As for money, try the dollar stores (family or general), they tend to have hair products geared toward Afro-American hair and is probably the cheapest place you can get hair products. Good Luck.

I need help for my unruly african american hair!!!!?

NOOOO sunsilk is a nono for african american hair. try using africas best shampoo and conditor, that works good and for cream u can use any thing that conditions good.

although u could use sunsilk conditioner, its ok, but anything else with sunsilk, no, it leaves your hair dry and brittle, so it break easily.
